ABC3 locates Nowhere Boys movie
Australian kids channel ABC3 is bringing a feature-length version of its live-action series Nowhere Boys to television.
The property, which Matchbox Pictures produces, has been successful as a series the ABC’s kids division, which is set to lose its controller, Deidre Brennan.
Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows will now debut on ABC3 on Sunday, March 6 in a 6.30pm slot.
The property follows four teen boys with magical powers who fight evil forces. The film is set a year after the most recent series episodes.
“I’m thrilled that, together with Matchbox Pictures, we’ve been able to expand the adventurous stories and fantastic characters onto the big screen and now a television event Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows, premiering on ABC3 next month,” said Brennan.
