Objective-backed Vox Pictures hires Williams
Vox Pictures has hired former Channel 4, Scott Free and Sprout Pictures exec Joe Williams as its head of development.
Vox is the UK film and TV drama indie that Pip Broughton and Adrian Bate founded in 2014. All3Media’s Objective announced early last year that it was investing in the scripted prodco.
Williams, who has also worked for Tandem Productions and Playground Entertainmen,t becomes head of development at London-based Vox. He will oversee the TV and film development slate and bring new creative talent into the prodco.
“Pip and Adrian are dynamic producers with an inspiring sense of vision for Vox,” said Williams. “I am delighted to be joining the company at such an exciting time and being a part of their team.”
Bate said: “We are very lucky to have Joe join the company and it will allow us to move up a gear with our already vibrant development slate.”
