Tricon takes Sensitive Skin to iTunes
Kim Cattrall comedy drama series Sensitive Skin will launch in the US on iTunes.
The first episode will be free and the remaining five available on a download-to-own basis on the Apple platform.
The show is a remake of the Joanna Lumley BBC series of the same name, which ran for two seasons. It follows Cattrall as she and her husband move to a cool neighbourhood in an attempt to stay relevant.
It is produced by Canadian indie Rhombus Media and Baby Cow Productions for specialty nets The Movie Network, and Movie Central.
Tricon Films & Television handles distribution, and has already shopped it to buyers including Sky in the UK and TMG in Germany.
“I am so excited Sensitive Skin has found a home in the US with iTunes. I am so proud of this series, how hard we worked on it and I know the audience will fall in love with Davina as I did,” said Cattrall.
