Argonon’s Leopard hires Cook from Pulse
The US arm of Leopard Films has recruited Rich Cook for a new role.
Cook (pictured) joins from UK-based indie prodco Pulse and will be vice president of talent at Leopard Films USA.
The producer said Cook will be part of its “expansion into new genres, with a strong focus on character-driven docusoap, formats and factual entertainment”.
The new recruit was acting head of television at Pulse where his credits included The Cruise Ship for ITV.
He has also worked at Eyeworks and its subsidiary At It Productions on youth-skewed shows and strands including T4 and Popworld.
At Leopard he will report to Argonon boss James Burstall, who said: “Rich is a dynamic, clever, mischievous creative with an impressive track record. We are excited to bring him to New York to work with us.”
Cook said: “I am absolutely brimming with ideas for Leopard Films USA to add to their own stellar track record. We’re going to be developing exciting new content for new platforms, building on Leopard’s success across lifestyle formats and branded entertainment.”
