Tandem lines up Ken Follett event series

Tandem Productions is lining up another series based on a Ken Follett novel, taking rights to the writer’s spy thriller Code to Zero.

Tandem, which is owned by France’s StudioCanal, has already successfully adapted two Follet books for TV – The Pillars of the Earth and World Without End.

Crossing Lines prodco Tandem said Code to Zero will be a limited series. StudioCanal will distribute the show internationally. Broadcast partners are not yet attached.

“I am delighted that Tandem Productions will be making a television series of Code to Zero,” says Ken Follett. “We have had a long and successful relationship and I am looking forward to them bringing my book to a new audience in this exciting way.”

“We have enjoyed a wonderful collaboration with Ken Follett over the years and are thrilled to be working with him again,” said Tandem chief Rola Bauer.  “Code to Zero lends itself beautifully to a present-day thriller that today’s audiences will find thoroughly relevant.”

Code to Zero is a mystery thriller set against the battle for global space supremacy between the US and China.
