Hollywood stars making eco series for Nat Geo
A raft of Hollywood stars are on board the new series of Years of Living Dangerously, the eco doc from National Geographic.
Fox-owned Nat Geo will put the new series out in the US and across its international footprint. It sets out to raise awareness of the effects of climate change and will launch next year.
Hollywood stars including David Letterman, in his first project since the end of his long-running talkshow, Jack Black, James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Each will report from a climate change hotspot from around the world.
Nat Geo said it will announce more stars soon.
“By combining the access and reputation of National Geographic with Hollywood’s brightest minds and journalism’s heaviest hitters, we plan to create even greater impact with the new season and awaken all of us to the reality of our global situation,” said Courteney Monroe, CEO, National Geographic Channels.
