Endemol Shine North America has struck a content deal with Justin Hochberg, the creator of CNBC series The Profit and one of the team that launched the US version of The Apprentice.
The deal between Endemol Shine and Hochberg’s Just Entertainment Studio will see the programme maker create and develop new formats and branded digital content for Endemol Shine.
Hochberg has worked with the group before, and has a new crowdsourced format that leverages some of the talent from digital division Endemol Beyond USA.
“The new Endemol Shine is more than a TV juggernaut,” he said. “Having access to its digital platforms, talent, consumer products and global reach, has already begun paying dividends. I’ve never gotten bigger and better ideas sold faster.”
