Fox restructures in Asia

Fox International Channels has upped three of its long-serving execs at its Asian operation, amid a raft of management changes.

In the position he will oversee channel operations and content initiatives in the region for the Fox, National Geographic Channel and StarWorld services. Each of the channel heads for the above-mentioned will report to Adyanthaya.

Swati Mohan has replaced Adyanthaya as FIC India’s GM.

She retains her current responsibility of overseeing regional marketing for Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Yeo will relocate from Hong Kong to Singapore in the new role.

Adyanthaya and Yeo report to Joon Lee, who holds a dual role as executive VP of content and communications for Asia Pacific and Middle East, and managing director of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

May-Yi-Lee[1]On the programming front, May Yi Lee (left) has been promoted from director of factual content production for Taiwan and China, and been given a wider geographical remit as vice president of NGC Regional Productions for Asia Pacific and the Middle East. She will report to Adyanthaya in the Taiwan-based position.

Lee said: “We believe strongly in grooming leaders from within our own talent pool, and these three team members are examples of that.”

The changes are the latest at FIC Asia, following the promotions of Rohit D’Silva and David Shin. Lee was also upped to head of the Southeast Asia business last year.
