Food Network dines out on new Asian deals
Food Network has secured a raft of new carriage deals in Asia.
The Scripps Networks Interactive-owned channel will now be carried on the now TV platform in Hong Kong, Indovision in Indonesia and, in the same territory, on OkeVision and Play Media.
SNI said the foodie and lifestyle channel, which first launched in the region five years ago, will also launch on the MOD service in Taiwan in coming weeks.
The programming line-up on the Asian feed of the channel includes Chopped (pictured), Guys Big Bite and The Kitchen. There are also local versions of US shows, including Food Wars and Best Thing I Ever Ate.
