Ex-FremantleMedia exec joins Jim Henson
Former FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment distribution exec Amy Takahara (pictured) has joined US producer The Jim Henson Company.
At Henson, she will be director of global distribution, selling shows such as Hi Opie!, Dinosaur Train and Doozers.
She was formerly FMKFE’s manager of distribution and marketing.
Henson has also promoted former Paramount Pictures exec Casie Friedman, who will be senior director, global distribution, sales. This post hands her responsibility for home entertainment and digital sales.
She has been with Henson since October 2012, and was previous in a director post.
Meanwhile, global distribution assistant Katie Mullins has been promoted to coordinator.
The restructure began with Karen Lee Arbeeny upped to VP, business operations, global distribution.
