NBC Asia has also bought a package of TV movies. The ten-title deal include Hallmark Channel rom-coms When Sparks Fly and My Boyfriends’ Dogs and holiday movies The Nine Lives of Christmas and Christmas Mix.
In the Phillippines, Mediaquest has acquired a 50-hour package for its free to air channel TV5, and titles include = holiday movie 12 Dog Days Till Christmas.
Vanessa Shapiro, executive VP, global distribution at Marvista said: “The fact that a number of our movies have premiered in the US on channels that include Hallmark, Disney Channel and Lifetime, further elevates the value placed on our movie titles.”
