Shine TV exec joins ITV Studio’s Potato
Shine TV’s Claire Morrison has joined ITV Studios-owned UK prodco Potato in the new role of head of development.
Morrison, currently a senior development executive at Endemol Shine Group-owned Shine TV, is credited for helping to develop shows such as BBC One’s The Met, ITV’s Children’s Hospital and Supersize vs Superskinny for Channel 4.
Morrison’s appointment marked “a significant step in our growth plans as we continue to focus on developing more successful, returnable formats across a broad range of UK broadcasters”, said Potato’s managing director, Michael Kelpie.
Morrison was previously a development executive for BBC One, and also held the post of joint head of development for BBC North, the UK pubcaster’s northern England unit.
She began her career at ITVS’s parent, ITV, and rejoins the broadcaster in March.
