Euro nets awaken Shopping Monsters

RTL in Croatia and Albania’s Tring TV have ordered local versions of Turkish daily makeover format Shopping Monsters.

Distributor Global Agency has sold sold a second season to RTL in the Netehrlands and Polsat Safe, via HotPot Media, in Poland.

The stripped entertainment show is currently in production on its third season on M6 in France and a fifth in Germany on Vox. There have also been remakes in Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia and Latvia. Kanal D in Turkey has run the original to 700 episodes.

In related news, Istanbul-based Global Agency is launching its latest format, It’s Showtime, at DISCOP Istanbul later this month.
