News brief: Fox promotes digital sales VP

Fox Networks in the US has promoted Benjamin (BJ) Elias to senior VP, distribution.

Former A+E Networks exec Elias has been with Fox since 2010, and was most recently VP, distribution, advanced services – a role that saw him leading new media products and services sales.

In the expanded job he will continue to report to Mike Biard, president, distribution, and will now oversee distribution of TV Everywhere apps and websites such as Fox Now, FXNow, Fox Sports Go, Nat Geo TV and BTN2Go.
