Cineflix buys into Biblical Conspiracies

Biblical Conspiracies promo imageCineflix’s distribution arm has picked up international rights to Biblical mystery doc series Biblical Conspiracies.

The four-parter is made by Toronto-based indie Associated Producers. It uses modern forensic techniques to examine ancient artefacts, including nails use in the crucifixion of Jesus and the tomb of the last king of Israel, and decode an ancient Biblical mystery.

The show launches on Discovery Science in the US this Sunday (December 14).

The series was acquired for Cineflix Rights by Lucinda Gergley-Garner, senior VP, sales and acquisitions, North America.

Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media said: “Biblical Conspiracies has already generated a huge amount of media and public interest for its theory about the life of Jesus Christ. I’m sure it will prove enormously successful with broadcasters looking for an audience-grabbing mix of history, science, and new revelations about ancient mysteries.”
