News brief: YEP! buys Avengers, Hulk toons

German kids channel YEP! has acquired Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.

The Marvel Entertainment toons, distributed by Disney Media Distribution, will air on YEP! in the first half of next year.

YEP! is a programming block on ProSieben MAXX. It is a joint venture between broadcaster Mainstream Media, m4e, former ProSiebenSat.1 Media board member Andreas Bartl and Tim Werner.
