FremantleMedia kids toon flies to Asia
Preschool series Kate & Mim-Mim will broadcast on two Asian channels following deals closed with distributor FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.
PBS in Thailand and OKTO in Singapore have bought the animated show, which debuted in the UK on CBeebies in August.
The deals come after TBI revealed FremantleMedia had hired Hit Entertainment’s Asian director Henry Or as VP for the region. ““We are delighted to announce these new deals which will see Kate & Mim-Mim launch on these prominent Asian platforms,” he said today.
The show comes from Nerd Corps Entertainment, the Canadian animation studio this month acquired by DHX Media for around US$50 million.
