News brief: Survivor spin-off for TV4

TV4 in Sweden has ordered a romance-tinged spin-off of Zodiak Media’s Survivor reality format.

Mastiff Sweden will produce Survivor Love Edition, which will see seven girls and guys stranded on an island working as pairs to survive. It will TX as Robinson – Love Edition next year with 30-episodes forthcoming.

Elsewhere, Canal 5 in Italy has ordered a tenth season of the original, while Magnolia in Spain will produce an eighth for Telecinco, and ALP will produce a fourteenth for TF1.
