TCB strikes Nat Geo deal in Asia
National Geographic Channels has bought a package of programming from TCB Media Rights. The 21st Century Fox-owned channel has picked up three TCB titles for its Asian channels.
TCB sells CJZ/Greenstone programming internationally and its show Dog Patrol will go out on the Fox Crime.
One-off doc Pet Hoarders, from UK indie Lambent, and six-part series World’s Most Extreme, from Channel 4-backed Arrow Media, will be on the Nat Geo channel in Asia.
World’s Most Extreme goes into the world’s most dangerous airports, railways, roads, tunnels, bridges and waterways. It will also go out on the Nat Geo channel in India.
In other deals closed in the run-up to ATF, TCB has shopped Snap TV’s food series Ainsley Eats the Streets to Discovery Asia and two seasons of Bondi Rescue (pictured) to free-to-air broadcaster TVB in Hong Kong.
