Package of French channels launch in the UK

Media services provider Globecast has launched its French TV package Téléfrance in the UK.

The package of channels is available via Sky’s Now TV box, the Roku box, iOS and Android devices and Samsung smart TVs.

It includes 11 major French TV channels and is targeted at the UK’s French-speaking community.

Channels available include France 24, TV5 Monde, Eurochannel, MyZen TV, The Museum channel, RFM TV and MCM Top from Lagardère Active, and Montagne TV. Additional channels will be added to the offering in the coming months.

“More than 400,000 French expatriates live in the UK and London has one of the highest concentrations of French residents in the world. This means demand for French content is huge, and this doesn’t even take into account French speakers from Africa, Belgium and Switzerland,” said Didier Mainard, vice-president, sales, Globecast.
