News brief: Disney launches on MediaCorp’s OTT

Disney has launched its Disney Movies on Demand service on Toggle, the over-the-top service operated by Singaporean broadcast group MediaCorp.

The agreement means Disney movies including Toy Story 3, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas and The Princess Diaries will be available on-demand on Toggle.

Subscribers to the premium Toggle Prime service, which costs S$9.90 per month (US$7.92), will be able to access the features for free.

“The addition of these titles will allow us to strengthen our family content offering in this online multi-device environment,” said William Lee, senior VP, Toggle, MediaCorp. “We are also excited to collaborate with Disney and welcome their programmes onto Toggle, which will form an important part of our content portfolio.”
