News brief: Israeli fund hires unscripted chief

Israel’s TV Format Fund has appointed experienced producer Dror Levy as manager of non-scripted content.

In the role, Levy will examine non-fiction format proposals from Israel and abroad and recommend which receive investment from the fund.

Alon Dolev and Rubicon Business Group launched the TV Format Fund at the start of this year, with a goal to invest around US$55 million in the financing and development of new TV formats.
