News brief: Poppy Cat prodco enters Deer Little Forest

King Rollo Films, the UK prodco behind Poppy Cat, is developing a 26x11mins preschool series from author Jo Rose called Deer Little Forest.

King Rollo and Koko Media, kids TV veteran Lisa Hryniewicz’s company, have signed a development deal with Rose, with Koko representing rights outside North America. A 45-second animated clip and bible are in the works.

Deer Little Forest follows the feisty Forest Flo (pictured) and her band of magical and musical woodland friends.
