Haut et Court, July August float Rubber Ducks

France’s Haut et Court (Les Revenants) and Israel’s July-August Productions are launching Rubber Ducks, a new thriller drama, in Cannes.

The 10x60mins show also has Tandem attached as a coproducer and international distributor.

The show is based on a real NASA experiment in which 90 rubber ducks were dropped through polar icecaps in Greenland to trace at what rate they were melting. It follows these ducks 10 years later as they turn up in random communities and have unexpected effects on local residents.

It comes from Israeli writer Yael Hedaya (In Treatment).
