Toggle scores Disney SVOD deal
Singaporean OTT service Toggle has scored a multiyear SVOD deal with The Walt Disney Company.
Under terms of the pact, selected series from Disney-owned ABC Studios such as Revenge, Scandal and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will run on the MediaCorp-owned Toggle Prime branded subscription service.
Furthermore, Disney, Pixar and Marvel movies such as Iron Man will run on the platform, along with classic movies such as Dead Poet’s Society.
“We’re delighted to be able to have ABC Studios On Demand and movies from Walt Disney Studios made available through Toggle,” said William Lee, senior vice president, Toggle.
“We are also excited to collaborate with Disney and welcome their programs onto Toggle which will form an important part of our content portfolio. The addition of these titles will allow us continue to bring new and exciting content in this online multi-device environment.”
Toggle Prime costs US$9.90 a month, and currently offers 20,000 titles on-demand, including advance episodes of shows from MediaCorp channels.
Toggle launched last year.
