News brief: Foxtel explores Hollywood’s Best Film Directors

Australian pay TV platform Foxtel has acquired factual entertainment series Hollywood’s Best Film Directors.

Foxtel will run the 78x26mins series on its Bio channel after acquiring the show from Paris- and LA-based Prime Entertainment Group.

“The show has been doing very well worldwide and has been a big success on major movie networks like HBO, Universal, Sky, Turner, Sony AXN and others,” said Prime’s managing director David Freyt. “This deal with Foxtel is a big encouragement for us to continue sharing our love for cinema.”
