News brief: 3net toon Dream Defenders finds Thai home
Dream Defenders, an animated series that debuted on US 3D channel 3net, has found a home in Thailand.
Channel 3 Family has bought the show, which is distributed by DreamWorks Classics. It comes from Singapore’s Tiny Island Productions and Shellhut Entertainment and follows a pair of twins that defend the real world from monsters from the Dreamworlds.
The 26x22mins series launched on 3net, the Sony-, Discovery- and IMAX-owned 3D channel, before selling to more than 60 territories. Super RTL in Germany, Hulu in the US and Mediterranean kids channel Planeta Junior are all among previous buyers.
