RTL CBS channels secure StarHub deal

The RTL CBS Entertainment HD and RTL CBS Extreme HD channels will launch on Singaporean pay TV platform StarHub later this month.

The pair of channels, which are operated by the RTL and CBS joint venture RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network, will roll out on StarHub on May 26.

The RTL CBS Entertainment channel will bring US series including House of Cards and The Millers to StarHub subs as well as US entertainment shows including All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, America’s Got Talent and Entertainment Tonight.

Male-skewing RTL CBS Extreme has shows including Dynamo: Magician Impossible, Criss Angel: Believe and Red Bull Air Race World Championship.

Having launched last year RTL CBS has already launched channels in the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia. In Singapore it is already carried on telco Singtel’s Mio service.
