Sundance buys Hollywood directors series
The international Sundance channel has acquired Hollywood’s Best Film Directors.
The 78x30mins show, which is produced by France-based Prime Entertainment Group, will go out on Sundance HD in over a hundred territories.
Independent distributor New Media Vision sells the show in several territories and struck the Sundance deal. NMV has also sold the series to Africa Media, which now has sub-Saharan Africa rights.
The series has previously been shopped to entertainment and movie-skewed services including HBO, Sky and AXN. It profiles and interviews world-renowned directors and subjects have included George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, Ridley Scott and Jean-Jacques Annaud (pictured).
