Cheetah Diaries Powers factual sales
Power’s The Cheetah Diaries has been picked up by a raft of international broadcasters.
Three seasons of the wildlife series have been acquired by Romanian pay TV operator RCS & RDS, which will also show it in Hungary on its in-house thematic channels.
The series were shopped as part of a wider package that also included including wildlife series Keepers of the Cape, mountain rescue doc On the Edge: Mountain Rescue, Iceman – The Lewis Gordon Pugh Story, following a man who swims through the waters of the Antarctic.
Distributor Log Media has taken rights to the Cheetah series in the CIS region along with other factual shows including A Kid’s Guide to the Kalahari and investigative wildlife special Out of Africa – Frogs in Demand.
UK-based Power, which sells factual content alongside its miniseries and scripted fare, said it has also shopped wildlife show Paseka, the Easter Elephant to Ushuaia TV in French-speaking territories and elephant doc The Story of the Great Desert Wanderers to Pan Universe for broadcast on Chinese pubcaster CCTV.
