Shine recruits scripted formats scout

Shine International has recruited a formats scout who will seek out drama projects hailing from Southern Europe.

Raffaella Bonivento will be based in Italy and report direct to Shine International CEO Nadine Nohr. Working on a consultancy basis, she will scope out scripted shows with formats potential.

Shine will look to get on board projects at creation stage and thereafter and will launch them into international markets.

Bonivento was previously executive producer, International TV Drama Coproductions at Mediaset’s RTI. Prior to that she was at Disney Channel Italia.

“Raffaella’s expertise in all aspects scripted programming and co-production along with her knowledge of the southern European region truly complement our existing teams across the globe,” said Nadine Nohr (pictured).

She added: “Scripted formats is a key area for our business and Rafaella’s brief is simple, to find great stories and story tellers for us to further collaborate and partner with across Shine.”
