News brief: ITV buys another indie

UK broadcaster has continued its indie buying spree, acquiring Danish prodco United for an undisclosed fee.

United was established in 2012.

ITV has been aggressively buying production companies and, reporting strong results earlier this week, said it will continue down that path.

ITV Studios boss Kevin Lygo told TBI late last year that the US is a particular focus.
