Viacom adds South Europe bosses

Viacom International Media Networks has appointed the long-serving Victor Mourão as its general manager.

VIMN has also named Jose Maria Delgado as its VP and CFO for South Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Mourão will in charge of strategy, including programming, for the Portuguese channels and content provider. He is based in Lisbon.

This comes soon after VIMN expanded the role of MTV Spain programming chief Laura Abril to oversee youth and channel brands across South Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In related news, VIMN is launching a Nickelodeon-branded block on Polish free-to-air channel TV Puls.
