Turner nabs Discovery Asia CFO

Turner International Asia Pacific has recruited Shitiz Jain as senior VP, finance.

He joins from Discovery Asia Pacific where, based in India and Singapore, he worked for almost fifteen years. His most recent role was CFO, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific.

Jain joins Turner in March and will work across all of Turner’s channels and brands in the region, which include Cartoon Network, CNN and Turner Calssic Movies.

Announcing the appointment, recently-installed Turner Asia boss Ricky Ow said: “Turner in Asia Pacific has ambitious growth targets which require robust financial support and I know Shitiz will serve as a key advisor for me in this regard.”
