Dancing with the Stars secures new Lat Am commission
The much-travelled Dancing with the Stars is heading to Costa Rica after format distributor BBC Worldwide sold it to local channel Teletica.
The net will produce its own version of the celebrity dance show this year. David Martinez, an actor and judge on Dancing with the Stars Panama, will join the judging panel.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the fusion between classic ballroom and Latin passion,” said BBCWW’s president, global markets Paul Dempsey.
Dancing with the Stars is recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most remade show in the international television business.
