Wallander III sells worldwide
The third season of Wallander has sold to various territories worldwide including the UK, Australia, New Zealand, former Yugoslavia, CIS countries, Iceland and Poland.
The Swedish series, this time based on Henning Mankell’s last novel The Troubled Man and original scripts, will air on the BBC in the UK, where Arrow Films will hold the video rights.
In other deals, High Gloss Entertainment has bought the series for Australia and New Zealand, and Kip has done the same for Slovenia, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Bosnia.
Canal+ Poland, Mauris Business for CIS and RUV for Iceland round out the deals made by Zodiak Rights, the distribution arm of Zodiak Media.
The series, which stars Krister Henriksson is produced by Yellow Bird Entertainment.
