Electus cuts programming deal with Sony channels

Producer and distributor Electus has cut a programming deal with Sony and a raft of its shows will play on Sony Pictures Television’s channels in the CIS region and the Baltics.

The distribution deal with SPT Networks Russia covers over 60 hours of Electus content.

Specific titles include season one of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s reality show The Hero, as well the first season of ob-doc show and Duck Dynasty spin-off Duck Commander. Other titles include 72 Hours (pictured), Unsealed: Alien Files and Buck Commander.

Diego Piasek, executive director, international distribution and production at Electus International said: “These shows have proven successful in the United States, and we expect them to continue to entertain audiences.”
