Beyond gets Hillbilly Preppers rights

Beyond Distribution has taken international rights to upcoming Discovery series Hillbilly Preppers.

The ob doc series, about a group of Georgia-based larger-than-life home security experts, originally went out on the Discovery-owned Destination America cable net in the US.

The series is produced by LA-based producer MorningStar.

Beyond will launch the six-part show internationally at the NATPE programming market next week.

Yvonne Body, head of acquisitions for Beyond Distribution, said: “I’m really excited for everyone to see Hillbilly Preppers. The series has an amazing cast of characters who operate in a world that many people outside America find hard to believe really exists.”
