Poland’s TVN hires Anting

Christian-Anting-HeadshotPolish broadcaster TVN Group has appointed former nc+ executive, Christian Anting (pictured), as its chief strategy officer and MD of international distribution and has replaced the head of its male-skewing TVN Turbo channel.

Anting will be responsible for TVN’s strategic development, focusing on retail and subscription based- services, e-commerce and non-fictional linear and non-linear content exploitation.

He will also be responsible for linear and non-linear distribution at TVN Group – including working across TVN’s international channel iTVN.

Anting joins from Polish pay TV platform nc+ where he was vice-president of the management board, responsible for programming and product.

He brings 10 years of management experience to the role and will report directly to TVN Group president Markus Tellenbach.

At the same time TVN has appointed TVN Turbo programme producer Przemysław Kwiatkowski as the new director of the channel.

Kwiatkowski takes over from Paweł Jordan, who has resigned from the post, and will be responsible for the overall operation and development of TVN Turbo.
