ITV cuts deal with Storage Wars’ Killion
The US-based content division of UK commercial broadcaster ITV has inked an overall and first-look deal with Justin Killion (pictured), the exec who developed and sold fact-ent series including Storage Wars.
He will develop and exec produce series for ITV Studios and has also brought on development exec Tim Urian to work with him.
Killian was previously senior VP of development at US programme maker Original Productions. Prior to that he was a literary manager at Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment.
“Words cannot express the excitement that both Tim and I feel with respect to partnering with ITV Studios America,” Killion added. “They have an excellent reputation and make incredible content.”
Announcing the deal Bruce Robertson, senior VP, creative strategy of ITV Studios America said: “Justin has a terrific, well-deserved reputation for creating engaging content, and together he and Tim are a great team who really understand successful storytelling.” He added: “They will bring a new perspective and energy to ITV Studios America as we continue to expand our development slate.”
