VIMN scores Asian broadcasting deals
Broadcasters across Asian have bought animated Nickelodeon programming from Viacom International Media Networks.
TianJin Shi Team Shine Culture Communications has acquired seasons one and two of Penguins of Madagascar for the Kaku Kids channel in China, while Korea Telecom Hitel has bought season one of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Taiwan’s Eastern Broadcasting Asia has bought multiple seasons of Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants, plus seasons three of Blue Clues and Team Umizoomi and season four of Go Diego Go for YoYoTV.
Also part of the deal are season one of live action-animation hybrid series Legend of Korra, TMNT and season five of Winx Club.
Finally, Thailand’s PBS will broadcast Go Diego Go following a deal VIMN struck with PBS.
