Channel 4 among ABC David Blaine show buyers

The UK’s Channel 4 was one of seven buyers of David Blaine: Real or Magic as the show debuted on ABC in the US yesterday.

The show sees magician Blaine performing his brand of death defying feats at the homes of celebrities such as Kanye West, Harrison Ford, Will Smith and Olivia Wilde.

Channel 4 as acquired the show from distributor Electus International, along with Australia’s Nine Network, Discovery networks in Italy, Spain and Latin America, New Zealand’s Prime and Sweden’s Kanal 5.

The show launched on ABC in the US last night.
