News brief: US channel Reelz cuts output deal with Asylum

ReelzChannel has inked an output deal with Asylum Entertainment and the producer will make 50 hours of unscripted content for the US cable net in 2014.

The agreement, which covers ten series, follows the pair working together on a variety of previous projects.

ReelzChannel acquired Asylum’s The Kennedys miniseries and the pair also inked a development deal that yielded shows including The Capones, Beverly Hills Pawn and Hollywood Hillbillies.
