ProSieben buys Canadian crime drama Played
ProSiebenSat.1 has acquired Played, the Canadian-produced cop drama series.
The German free-to-air broadcaster has picked up the series as its producer and distributor, Muse Entertainment, launches it internationally at MIPCOM.
The show follows undercover cops infiltrating criminal gangs. The thirteen-part drama was commissioned by Bell-owned Canadian broadcaster CTV. It will launch on the Canadian free-to-air channel this month.
ProSiebenSat 1 has taken linear and video-on-demand rights linear television and on-demand services in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg.
Muse produced the one-hour drama with Back Alley Film Production.
