Cineflix seals Euro deal ahead of MIPCOM
Cineflix Rights has signed a content agreement with French broadcaster RMC Découverte, plus sold shows to Mediaset in Spain and Sky Italia.
The RMC deal is for 30 hours of programming including World War II: The Last Heroes and Air Aces, both of which are 6x60mins.
Sky Italia has acquired shows such as Dinner Party Wars, House Poor, Buying and Selling and The Day Kennedy Died, the latter of which is a 1x60mins doc from Finestripe Productions for ITV and Smithsonian Channels that has also been acquired by France’s D8.
Mediaset Spain has bought shows including My House, Your Money and Property Brothers, while Atresmedia has acquired Cash Cowboys and pan-regional broadcaster Discovery Italy & Iberia has gone for Border Security Canada.
Cineflix Rights has continued to strike a slew of pre-MIPCOM deals despite putting several staff members jobs at risk of redundancy as part of a company restructure at the start of this month.
