FishBowl co-founder exits in major restructure
FishBowl Worldwide Media will see one of its co-founders exit as part of raft of sweeping changes at the US multiplatform production house.
Bruce Gersh (left), who launched the company with America’s Funniest Home Videos creator Vin de Bona in 2010, has lead the firm as president and CEO since its inception but will leave when his current contract ends.
His departure comes after the departure of Susan Levinson, who joined VH1 has head of programming last week, and as FishBowl made a series of internal promotions.
Senior VP, unscripted programming, Beth Greenwald has been named president, creative affairs, a new role that will effectively see her in charge of the TV unit. She joined in 2010 from E! Entertainment and has since executive produced series such as Upload with Shaquille O’Neal for TruTV.
while Paul Lapointe has been upped from his CFO role to executive VP and COO. Kelly Nash has been promoted to VP, development and Kevin Bloom has joined the company as head of production.
