Six international deals for Broadchurch

Shine International has cut six new international deals for hit UK drama Broadchurch.

Channel One (Russia), France 2, NRK (Norway), OnDIRECTV (Latin America), ProSiebenSat.1 (Germany) and TV4 (Sweden) have all picked up the crime drama, which is also being remade by Fox in the US.

Shine said it has now sold the show into 32 territories in all with previous sales to broadcasters including ABC Australia and BBC America, where the series premieres tonight in a 10pm slot.

Nadine Nohr, CEO of Shine International said: “We are delighted to have concluded these deals and to be in further discussion with broadcasters around the world who want to bring it to their audiences.”

The series was a huge hit for ITV in the UK earlier this year. It is produced by Shine-owned UK producer Kudos.
