Lou Occhicone leaves CableReady

Lou Occhicone has left CableReady, the producer and distributor that recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Occhicone was senior VP of operations at CableReady, overseeing daily operations and the sales staff as well as having responsibility for managing contracts.

He was also involved in programme development having been an exec on CableReady’s Intersections series for cable net Speed and food show The Minimalist.

The executive told contacts he was no longer working at CableReady late last week and said he was finalising his next venture. Occhicone had been at CableReady since 2000.

CableReady filed for Chapter 11 in June and founder Gary Lico subsequently said that it is business as usual while the situation plays out.
