Korea, Singapore firms link for CGI action series

Animation companies from South Korea and Singapore have for the first time come together to coproduce a CGI action adventure series.

G-Fighter will be a 26x22mins boys-skewed series from South Korea producer Electric Circus and Singaporean animation studio studio Tiny Island Productions.

Korean pubcaster EBS is among those supporting the project, along with funding body KOCCA, SBA, SK Broadband and media firm CJ E&M.

The series, which is among the first Korean-Singaporean coproductions, will launch at the end of 2014.
