News brief: eOne ups Rubin

UK-listed film and TV distributor Entertainment One has promoted Jackie Rubin to VP, corporate communications.

Rubin takes the new role immediately and will work across the company’s film, TV, music, family entertainment and licensing divisions.

Based in Toronto, Rubin reports to eOne’s film boss Patrice Théroux and president and CEO Darren Throop.

He said: “The strength of the eOne brand across the globe and our expanding network of industry partners have been significantly extended by her resourceful efforts and contributions over the past four years,” said Darren Throop, president & CEO, Entertainment One.
